Matchup to Watch
Nerlens Noel vs. Marvin Williams: The 76ers rookie, who missed all last season with injury, has posted solid numbers at both ends in what has otherwise been a forgettable season for that franchise.
Observations
▪ The 76ers made significant changes at the trade deadline, in particular sending point guard Michael Carter-Williams to the Milwaukee Bucks.
▪ After this game the Hornets are down to two home games in their final six games overall.
Tap-ins
▪ Concord’s Ish Smith has become a fill-in starter at point gaurd for the Sixers as they close out their season.
▪ Despite all the roster churn and long-term decisions, coach Brett Brown has done a great job of keeping the Sixers playing hard.
Did you know?
The Sixers average a league-worst 17.9 turnovers this season. That number rises to 20 in games they’ve played against the Hornets.
