Bubba Wallace is all for speed. Perhaps that’s why he enjoys the rapid pace of a basketball game compared to a lengthy NASCAR race.

In this week’s episode of The QC Hornets’ Nest, Wallace explains how much he savors watching hoops action and how he wouldn’t mind seeing his sport cut down on the amount of time it takes for their drivers to complete their laps around the track.

Wallace, a Concord native and member of 23XI Racing, also discussed teaming up with Hornets forward Jalen McDaniels and playing pickup after a recent practice, his thoughts on LaMelo Ball’s stature already in Charlotte, Michael Jordan’s competitiveness as an owner of his racing team and the Hornets and more.

The weekly podcast can also be found on Apple and Spotify.
