Matchup to Watch
Al Jefferson vs. Greg Monroe: Jefferson is probably the better pure low-post scorer of the two, but Monroe is an offensive threat from all over the floor and a volume rebounder.
Observations
▪ Bucks coach Jason Kidd served a one-game suspension Friday, levied by the NBA after Kidd slapped the ball out of the hands of referee Zach Zarba.
▪ This is a relatively rare Sunday afternoon home game for the Hornets. They were receptive to playing in this window today because they wouldn’t compete with a Carolina Panthers game.
Tap-ins
▪ The Hornets list Cody Zeller (shoulder contusion) and Frank Kaminsky (back spasms) as questionable to play versus the Bucks.
▪ Milwaukee’s Jerryd Bayless is right there with the Hornets’ Jeremy Lamb among best 3-point shooters off the bench this season.
Did you know?
The Bucks have great offensive balance. Three times already this season seven Bucks have finished a game in double-figure scoring.
