Matchup to Watch
Chris Bosh vs. Marvin Williams: Bosh has a history of beating up on the Hornets, in part due to his 3-point shooting range. Williams is comfortable guarding all over the court.
Observations
▪ The Hornets are on a two-game winning streak and play their next three at Time Warner Cable Arena.
▪ Hornets small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has given his team a burst of new-found energy since returning three games ago from shoulder surgery.
Tap-ins
▪ Hornets point guard Kemba Walker missed the victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday with a sore knee. Jeremy Lin scored 24 points filling in for Walker. Walker is listed as questionable to play versus the Heat.
▪ The Hornets play a rare home back-to-back this weekend, also hosting the Washington Wizards Saturday.
Did you know?
When the Hornets beat the Cavaliers Wednesday it broke a streak of 23 games when the franchise lost to a LeBron James-led team. Nineteen of those victories were when James played for the Heat, including the 4-0 playoff sweep.
