Matchup to Watch
Paul George vs. Nic Batum: Batum draws another big challenge defensively two nights after guarding LeBron James in Cleveland.
Observations
▪ After playing only six games last season, after suffering a compound leg fracture, George is having a career season for the Pacers.
▪ The Hornets seldom win in Indianapolis, but they crushed the Pacers by 23 points there earlier this month. However, that was the game that ended Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s season when he suffered another torn labrum.
Tap-ins
▪ The Hornets list reserve center Spencer Hawes as out with a sore lower back. This will be the fourth consecutive game Hawes will miss with this injury.
▪ Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey has been out lately with a right foot sprain/bone bruise.
Did you know?
The Hornets are 8-4 this season against teams from the Central Division.
