Matchup to Watch
Nic Batum vs. Hollis Thompson: Batum is coming off a triple-double, his second as a Hornet, in Tuesday’s road game against these same Sixers.
Observations
▪ The Sixers played Tuesday without the injured Nerlens Noel, Jerami Grant and Richaun Holmes. The Sixers list Noel as questionable and did not list Grant as injured. Holmes is out.
▪ The Hornets are closing in on clinching their third playoff berth since the NBA returned to Charlotte in 2004.
Tap-ins
▪ Hornets reserve guard Jeremy Lin sat out Tuesday’s game with a sore lower back. He practiced Thursday, but said he won’t know if he’s well enough to play until Friday.
▪ This is one of just three remaining home games. Each is against a team eliminated from playoff contention (Nets and Magic after this).
Did you know?
The Sixers have won once – against the Brooklyn Nets – since the All-Star Break in mid-February.
