The Charlotte Hornets are going "Buzz City" for Wednesday night’s Game 5 of the best-of-seven playoff series with the Miami Heat.

The Hornets will wear their black, sleeved "Buzz City" alternate uniforms, according to the team. That uniform design came out last summer, introduced to the public at the 2015 draft-night party at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, out right now following shoulder surgery, modeled the black uniforms in June.

The Hornets wore the "Buzz City" uniforms in their first home game of this series. According to Pete Guelli, who oversees Hornets marketing, the NBA allows teams to wear such alternate looks only once at home during the playoffs.
