N.C. State sophomore Maverick Rowan, recovering from a concussion suffered in the season opener against Georgia Southern, returned to the lineup in Saturday’s overtime win against Tennessee State. ...The Wolfpack leads 11-1 in this series. ...Appalachian State freshman forward Isaac Johnson (Providence Day) scored 10 points in Saturday’s blowout win against Montreat and is averaging 7.2 points. Sophomore guard Ronshad Shabazz averages 15.5 points to lead ASU.

TUSKEGEE (1-8) at JOHNSON C. SMITH (3-6)

Brayboy Gymnasium, Charlotte, 7 p.m.

Tuskegee’s only victory came Dec. 4 at home – against Johnson C. Smith. In that game, the Golden Bulls shot 28 percent from the floor. They shot 46 percent Monday in an 80-77 loss to Catawba. Robert Davis scored 18 points, leading four Smith players in double figures. ...Tuskegee played Wednesday night at Clark Atlanta, but their win against the Golden Bulls also came when they played two straight days.
