It’s a meeting of two of the nation’s best ballhandling teams. Davidson ranks first in assists-to-turnovers ratio and has the second-fewest turnovers in Division I. ... Rhode Island is fourth nationally in turnover margin (+5.7 per game), and point guard Jeff Dowling is second in assists-to-turnovers ratio.

Davidson’s Peyton Aldridge is in the top 10 in 11 Atlantic 10 statistical categories. If the Rams have a weakness, it might be on the boards. They rank near the bottom of the A-10 in rebounding.
