For the second year in a row, N.C. State football coach Dave Doeren has a new contract.

The school announced on Tuesday that Doeren has agreed to a new five-year contract with a $250,000 raise. The new deal is worth $3.25 million annually and runs through the 2023 season.

“I’m grateful for the commitment and support N.C. State has provided to my family and I,” Doeren said in a statement released by the school. “This University and community are home to us, we’re excited with what we’re building with NC State football and I look forward to continuing to lead this program.”

N.C. State went 9-4 in Doeren’s sixth season in 2018. Doeren, 47, has posted consecutive nine-win seasons and has led the Wolfpack to five straight bowl appearances.

Doeren has a 43-34 overall record and 20-28 mark in ACC play. N.C. State’s 11-5 ACC record over the past two seasons is the second-best mark in league play.

Doeren was given a new contract last year after he was courted by Tennessee, Oregon State and Ole Miss. This new contract replaces that one.

Doeren’s new base salary is $1,625,000 per year. His annual supplemental compensation, from the school’s contracts for media media and Adidas, is $1,625,000.

Doeren’s new contract does not include any automatic extensions but he can earn bonuses for “academic team achievement” up to $300,000 and up to $1,050,000 for “competitive team achievements” per year.

Among the bonuses in Doeren’s contract:

$50,000 for eight wins (including the postseason); $100,000 for nine wins; $150,000 for 10 wins; $200,000 for 11 wins and $250,000 for 12 or more wins.

$100,000 for playing in the ACC championship game or $200,000 for winning the ACC championship game.

$25,000 for playing in a non-College Football Playoff bowl game or $50,000 for winning a non-CFP bowl game. A CFP bowl appearance would be worth $250,000 or winning the CFP national championship game would be worth $500,000.

$50,000 for finishing in the top 25 of the final CFP poll or $100,000 for a top-15 finish.
