What Pitt coach Jeff Capel said: “What we were able to do (Tuesday) we have earned the right to play (Wednesday). We’re going to play against a really good N.C. State team that’s fighting for their postseason NCAA tournament life. We had a great game with them a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we can be a little bit better (Wednesday).”
