The Deacons host the Panthers in their final ACC home game this season in a nationally-televised game Sunday. … Wake Forest is coming off one of its worst losses in program history, falling to No. 2 Virginia 70-34 on Wednesday. That came 11 days after the Deacons nearly upset the Cavaliers 61-60 on Feb. 14. … Pittsburgh, which beat Wake Forest twice last season, has won two straight and three of its past four games. … Forward Devin Thomas is just two points shy of becoming the 51st player in Deacons history to reach 1,000 points.
