It takes a lot of work to get ready for the NCAA Final Four each spring -- and not just for the teams that’ll be battling it out for a chance at the NCAA championship title.
Connor Sports built the wooden courts that the Duke Blue Devils and the other teams will play on this weekend. On its website, the company said it takes about a year to build the court. The first northern Maple trees used were harvested in September. About 100 trees are needed to build one court, the company said.
The court was installed March 27 in Lucas Oil Stadium.
