North Carolina point guard Marcus Paige underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs in his right ankle at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte Monday.

The Tar Heels’ leading scorer is expected to be back on the basketball court this summer.

Paige played all of UNC’s 38 games this past season despite suffering from plantar fasciitis, a painful foot condition.
