Davidson has signed its second freshman for next season in 6-foot-10 power forward Dusan Kovacevic, a native of Serbia who played at the Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, Ga.

“Dusan is a perfect fit for our school and program,” said Wildcats coach Bob McKillop. “His skills, his versatility, and his attitude will allow him to make a quick and successful transition from high school to Atlantic 10 basketball.”

Kovacevic also had offes from New Mexico, San Diego, Alabama-Birmingham, Georgia Southern, Rhode Island and Kennesaw State.

KiShawn Pritchett, a 6-6 small forward from Lake Norman High, signed with the Wildcats last November. Davidson, which loses guard Tyler Kalinoski and forward Ali Mackay to graduation, has one more scholarship available on its roster.
