Bad weather postpones college basketball games

A list of Charlotte-area college basketball postponements Saturday due to weather:

▪ Davidson’s Atlantic 10 men’s game at Richmond will move from Saturday to Monday at 7 p.m.

▪ Winthrop’s Big South men’s game at Longwood will move to Sunday at 5 p.m.

▪ Johnson C. Smith’s doubleheader against Livingstone is rescheduled for Sunday at Brayboy Gym, with the women’s game starting at 1 p.m. and the men’s at 3 p.m.

▪ Queens’ doubleheader with Anderson will move to Monday, Feb. 1. The women’s game will be played at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.

▪ Appalachian State’s doubleheader with Georgia Southern will be played Monday, with the women’s game at 4 p.m., followed by the men at 6 p.m.

▪ The Charlotte 49ers’ men’s game against Western Kentucky will be played as scheduled at 6 p.m. Saturday at Halton Arena.
