West Mecklenburg quarterback Richard Latimer broke his own school-record with 440 yards passing against Ardrey Kell

Richard Latimer, West Mecklenburg: senior QB broke his own school-record, completing 24-of-31 passes for 440 yards and a school-record six touchdowns in Friday’s 47-35 win at Ardrey Kell. Latimer had 34 yards rushing on 10 carries.

T.J. Elliot, Khamal Howard, East Meck: in a tough 29-21 win over Independence last week, Elliot had 10 tackles, including two for sacks and two for losses. He had a 40-yard scoring run after a fumble recovery. Howard ran 42 times for 210 yards.

Jack Davidson, Myers Park: senior QB threw for career-high 357 yards and career-high five scores in a 45-19 win over Rocky River Friday.

Brady Pope, South Iredell: Completed 21-of-26 passes for 372 yards and six touchdowns as South blew out previously unbeaten Alexander Central 55-27.

Canaan Cox, Statesville Christian: 28 carries for 309 yards and six touchdowns in Friday’

Will Huss, SouthLake Christian: A 5-foot-11, 215-pound junior, Huss ran 11 times for 136 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in a 48-0 win over Christ The King Friday.
