Quavaris Crouch, Harding: 37 carries for 226 yards and a touchdown against Mallard Creek. Teammate Maleik Foust had two sacks, plus one tackle for a loss.
Adonis Henderson, Mallard Creek: Two defensive touchdowns in Friday’s 30-9 win over Harding -- and 81-yard fumble return and a 32-yard interception return.
Rylan McLaurin, Charlotte Country Day: Had game-winning 11-yard run in a 15-14 win over Pittsboro Northwood with less than a minute left on the road. McLaurin finished with four catches for 81 yards and a score, plus his rushing touchdown.
Nijere Peoples, Butler: Senior running back ran 18 times for 111 yards in a 26-25 win over Providence. Keyon Lesane had three catches for 57 yards, including an 11-yard scoring reception in overtime that set up the game-winning extra point. Providence’s Julian Boddie ran 28 times for 168 yards.
Nigel Summerville, Vance: Completed 18-of-28 passes for 253 yards and two scores, plus had a rushing touchdown in a 49-22 win over South Mecklenburg.
