Cuthbertson QB Austin Kendall commits to Oklahoma
Cuthbertson High quarterback Austin Kendall, a top 300 national recruit, committed to Oklahoma Tuesday night, Cuthbertson athletics director Mike Helms told the Observer.
Kendall, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound junior, is ranked No. 8 in the state by ESPN and the No. 15 player at his position nationally. Kendall led Cuthbertson to 10 straight wins and a berth in the N.C. 3AA state championship game last season. He threw for 4,471 yards and 49 touchdowns.
Kendall decomitted from Tennessee earlier this month.
