Social media reaction to NCHSAA preliminary football playoff pairings
The N.C. High School Athletic Association released its 2017 preliminary high school football playoff pairings Saturday, and the reaction was pretty tough.
The preliminary brackets, released mid-Saturday afternoon, including a 1-10 team getting into the playoffs, and receiving a bye.
Now that’s just not right. @NCHSAA pic.twitter.com/s0xGglz1PV

The #NCHSAA can talk about process, blah, blah... but when a 1-10 team gets a #2 seed, your process doesn't work and you look like an idiot

The NCHSAA is a joke and heir primary interest is to enrich their own coffers. They have no desire to get these kind of things right.

So, a 1-10 team gets a No. 2 seed in the 4A West?

@NCHSAA when the 2nd & 3rd place team in your conference gets a worse seed than the 4th place team your system is flawed.

So a 1-10 gets a #2 seed and an 8 win team gets left home. At some point you run out of adjectives to describe the ineptitude of the @NCHSAA

If you believe the NCHSAA does a great and timely job with football brackets, you must also love pineapples on pizza and sugar in grits

NCHSAA, you have failed. That is all.
