Hoodies House basketball tournament bringing strong field to Providence Day Dec. 27-29
The annual Hoodies House high school basketball tournament at Providence Day will feature multiple Division I signees and national recruits. It will also feature some strong teams.
The tournament will feature an 8-team national field and a 4-team regional tournament.
Providence Day is the two-time defending champion in the national bracket and will be joined in the national field by N.C. Independent Schools 2A state finalist Carmel Christian. Lincoln Charter, the N.C. 1A state public school champion, is in the local field, and will have a high profile matchup with N.C. 4A semifinalist Butler.
Lincoln Charter is led by Presbyterian signee Kody Shubert and Lees McRae signee London England. Butler counters with New Orleans signee Gerrale Gates and Queens signee DJ Little.
▪ In addition to the basketball, there will be a slam dunk contest on Dec. 28 hosted by WPEG-FM radio personality No Limit Larry.

Robert Allen, Michael Eads, Edgewater (Fla.): Allen, a 6-foot-7 power forward has committed to Samford; Eads
Adrian Baldwin, Jordan Toles, Koran Moore, St. Frances Academy (MD): Baldwin, a 6-foot sophomore guard holds offers from UConn, Miami and Kansas State and is being recruited by Villanova and North Carolina. Toles, a 6-2 sophomore, has a Denver offer. Moore, a 6-foot-9, 230-pound senior power forward, is a top 10 recruit from the state of Maryland. He has offers from Southern Cal, UMass, Dayton and Coastal Carolina, among others.
Marcus Littles, Chris Ings, Neumann-Goretti: Littles, a 6-9, 250-pound senior, has committed to George Washington. Ings, a 6-2 junior, has offers from Mount Saint Mary’s and LaSalle.
John Wilson, KC Ndefo, Lincoln (NY): Wilson, a 6-foot sophomore guard, has offers from Iona and New Mexico. Ndefo is a 6-5 junior small forward.
