Nathan Brenner, Charlotte Country Day baseball: 3-for-4 with four RBIs in a 11-4 loss to Charlotte Christian.
Amy Clark, Dina Fahmey, Cannon girls soccer: Combined for a shutout in a 5-0 win over Charlotte Christian.
John Creel, Lake Norman Charter baseball: Threw seven innings in a 2-1 win over Forestview Tuesday. He had 16 strikeouts and one walk in the game, which lasted 13 innings. Teammate Steven Farkas pitched six innings and allowed one hit and had seven strikeouts.
Casey Hewett, Charlotte Country Day softball: 3-for-5, 5 RBIs in a 15-13 loss to Covenant Day.
Max Lahn, Providence Day baseball: 3-for-4 with two triples in a 13-1 win over Covenant Day.
Louis Lambert, Charlotte Latin golf: 3-under 69 at the Divide Golf Course in a 302-388 win over Covenant Day.
Hayley McDermott, Ardrey Kell girls soccer: two goals in a 2-1 win over Olympic.
Madison Ramsey, Gaston Christian softball: 12 strikeouts, two hits and an RBI in a 6-2 win over SouthLake Christian.

Henry Shimp, Myers Park golf: Shot 7-under 29 for nine holes in a match with Charlotte Catholic. Myers Park won 140-144. Catholic’s Will Hughes shot 2-under 34.
Carson Song, Charlotte Latin lacrosse: four goals in a 12-7 win over Providence Day.
Katie Stahl, Olympic softball: 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 3-0 win over Ardrey Kell.

Charlotte Christian hires assistant girls basketball coach
Charlotte Christian girls basketball coach Luke Boythe said the school has hired Beth Fagan as its new girls assistant. Fagan, then Beth Davis, scored 1,1762 career points at Wake Forest and will help coach a team that returns three starters and eight players. Christian was 21-11 last season and made the N.C. Independent Schools 3A state semifinals.
Covenant Day’s Sarah Billiard commits to Virginia
Covenant Day volleyball star Sarah Billiard committed to Virginia last week. She got a full scholarship. Billiard, an All-Observer volleyball and basketball star, was being recruited by more than 70 schools.
