Prep Hoops North Carolina Private Rankings

Greensboro Day (3-A) (8-0)-The Bengals and their 1,000 win head coach Freddy Johnson have rattled off wins over Christ School, Fayettevile Academy, York Prep, Calvary Day School, Vance, SouthLake Christian Academy and Charlotte Latin. Has a big matchup on Tuesday against Providence Day.

Carmel Christian (3-A) (7-0)-Wins against some of the best teams in the state has Carmel Christian and former Northside Christian Head Coach Byron Dinkins looking good.

Providence Day (3-A) (6-1)-A loss to Cox Mill High School at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge is their only blemish on the record. Seniors Devon Dotson, Trey Wertz and Isaac Suffren lead the Chargers.

Wesleyan Christian (3-A) (6-1)-The addition of Keyshaun and Kobe Langley has been paying dividends for Wesleyan. Only loss coming from Georgia power Nocross High School. Big matchup with Carlisle (VA) this week.

Ravenscroft School (3-A)(3-1)-Wins against Trinity Christian, St. David's and Greenfield School. Only loss coming at the hands of Wesleyan Christian.

Trinity Christian (1-A) (3-3)-Duke commit Joey Baker, PrepHoopNC's #4 ranked 2019 Greg Gantt and #8 Audiese Toney lead The Crusaders. Two losses this weekend at Hoopsgiving in Georgia to two powerful squads in Meadowbrook (GA) and Trinity Episcopal (VA).

Northwood Temple (1-A) -NC State signees Ian Steere and Immanuel Bates, one of NC's top 2019's Josh Nickelberry. Enough said. Josh Nickelberry is starting to pick things back up. Lost three games to start the season against tough competition and without Immanuel Bates and Ian Steere. Got a big win over York Prep in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge.

Greenfield School (1-A) (4-3)-Led by North Carolina signee Coby White and Georgia Southern signee Elijah McCadden. Wins against York Prep (SC), United Faith (NC) and Wayne Christian.

Charlotte Christian (3-A) (4-0)-JC Tharrington and company have wins against Kings Mountain HS, Pebblebrook (GA) and Holy Innocents Episcopal (GA).

Asheville Christian Academy (2-A) (6-1)-The Lions have wins against Gaston Day, Calvary Day School, Northside Christian, Grace Christian, Hickory Christian and Comenius. Only loss coming at the hands of Carmel Christian.

Gaston Day-(3-A) (3-2)-Wins against Carolina Day and Lake Point Academy and losses to Providence Day and Asheville Christian Academy. Too strong of a roster not figure it all out in a few weeks.

Christ School (3-A) (3-4)-Playing one of the toughest schedules in the state, Christ School lost to Greensboro Day, Porter Gaud (SC), Carmel Christian and McEachern (GA). Keys wins against Spartanburg Day, Hoke County HS, and Forsyth Country Day.
