↑Concord First Assembly girls: with no players 6 foot or more on the roster, First Assembly (22-6) has won 15 straight games. It will face Hickory Grove for the MAC tournament championship Friday at 6 p.m. at Hickory Grove.
↑East Burke girls: won their 11th straight game in Thursday’s 78-33 win over Draughn. Riley Haas led the team with 17 points. East (23-1) hasn’t allowed any team to score 50 points on it since returning from the Christmas break.
↑Cameron McCravy, Mountain Island Charter: 10 points, 10 assists in a 116-40 win over Bradford Prep Thursday. Teammates CJ Stephens and Jalen Thomas combined for 43 points.
↑Niyah Lutz, Ardrey Kell girls: had 12 points, six steals in win over Concord Robinson Thursday to become the fourth girls player in school history to pass 1,000 career points. Journey Muhammad (14 points, five steals), Shy Booker (11 points, seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks) and Michelle Ojo (nine points, 12 rebounds, five steals) all had strong games.

David Kasanganay, Ardrey Kell: game-high 22 points for the Navy recruit on Senior Night in a 79-65 win over Concord Robinson.
Quan McCluney, Gaston Day: 24 points, seven rebounds, one block in a 71-49 win over Northside Christian in MAC tournament semifinals. McCluney, a top 25 recruit in the class of 2018 in the state, has signed with College of Charleston
Hunter Smith, SouthLake Christian: made two free throws with less than one second left to lift his team to a 57-56 win over Concord First Assembly in the Metrolina Athletic Tournament semifinals. SouthLake -- which got 19 points, five rebounds and two assists from star Madison Monroe -- will play regular-season champ Gaston Day in the tournament final Friday at 7:30 p.m. The game is at Hickory Grove.
Shamani Stafford, Jessyka Leak, Concord First Assembly girls: In a 72-23 win over Metrolina Christian, Stafford went for 28 points, 10 assists, six steals and three rebounds. Leak had 21 points, seven rebounds and two assists. She made 7-of-9 3-point attempts.
