Elijah Bowick, Myers Park: Mustangs senior receiver, committed to Virginia Tech, caught four passes for 146 yards in the first half of a 55-14 win over Providence. Those included a 72-yarder for a score on the game’s first possession and a 46-yard Hail Mary touchdown to close the half.

JB Awolowo, Charlotte Christian: In the first seven minutes of a 58-0 win over Covenant Day, Awolowo had two sacks, one 49-yard punt return for a touchdown, one 83-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 21-yard run for a touchdown. He finished with 166 yards total offense.

Nick King, Charlotte Catholic: In a 20-3 win over Charlotte Country Day, King had a fumble recovery and three sacks.

Stefon Thompson, Vance: Defensive end had a 45-yard interception return for a score, plus two sacks in a 51-0 win over previously unbeaten Rocky River. Quarterback Nigel Summerville threw for 150 yards, two scores and ran for one. Receiver Nyier Clark caught five passes for 80 yards and two scores.
