N.C. Associated Press statewide prep football 4A poll remains Charlotte-heavy

The latest N.C. Associated Press high school football poll has been released.

Lenoir Hibriten, No. 1 in the 2A poll, is the only Observer-area team ranked No. 1. Mallard Creek, Hough, Myers Park, Vance and Butler are all ranked in 4A poll that remains Mecklenburg County heavy.

Mallard Creek and Vance play each other Saturday at UNC Charlotte.
