Imani Cherry, Hickory Grove: 22 points, 10 steals, six rebounds and four “and 1” scores in a 51-38 win over Northside Christian. Hickory Grove is 4-0.
Dane Bertolina, Charlotte Catholic: 15 of her 18 points were scored in the third quarter of a 51-18 win over Covenant Day. Catholic is 3-0.
Micahla Funderburk, Butler: 29 points in a 58-55 double-overtime win over Mallard Creek, No. 3 in the Sweet 16. Funderburk made 8-of-10 3-point shots for the Bulldogs, ranked No. 9.
Dazia Lawrence, Mallard Creek: 29 points in double-overtime loss to Butler for the Charlotte 49ers recruit.
Evan Miller, Ardrey Kell: 17 points, seven rebounds, four steals, three assists in a 66-51 win over Myers Park. Ardrey Kell, No. 5 in the Sweet 16, is 4-0. No. 11 Myers Park dropped to 0-2.
