↑South Mecklenburg girls coach Cristie Mitchell: Won her 100th career game at South Meck Saturday in a 63-28 win over Hammond School at the LBI Best of the Carolinas showcase. Mitchell now has 225 career wins.
↑Marten Maide, Carmel Christian: scored his 1,000th point in a win Friday. Maide has signed with Liberty.
↑East Lincoln: used 12-3 push in the fourth quarter to beat Kings Mountain 63-48. Kings Mountain has not beaten East Lincoln since 1987, and East Lincoln is 4-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
↑Vance girls star Kyanna Morgan: 11 points, 13 rebounds in a 46-31 win over Cardinal Newman and named game MVP of the Best of the Carolinas Showcase at Butler High Saturday.

Aniya Finger, Hopewell girls: Had her second straight game with 25 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday’s 63-36 win over Concord First Assembly.
Shariah Gaddy, South Meck girls: 22 points, five rebounds, four assists in a 63-28 win over Hammond School. Teammate Senali Moss, the freshman daughter of NFL legend Randy Moss, had a career-high 18 points, a career-high nine steals and four assists.
Justin Kuthan, East Lincoln: game-high 21 points in a 63-48 win over Kings Mountain. He made 7-of-8 free throws.
Tristan Maxwell, North Mecklenburg: game-high 28 points, three rebounds, two steals in the Vikings’ 80-50 win over Fort Mill Nation Ford at the Bojangles’ Bash tournament in Columbia. Maxwell made 11-of-25 field goal attempts and 4-of-12 3-point attempts. North Meck led 31-27 at halftime, but outscored Nation Ford 50-23 in a decisive second half. Vikings forward Chris Ford had 16 points, 10 rebounds.
Caleb Stone-Carrawell, Concord Cox Mill: Charlotte 49ers recruit sparked an 81-78 win over private school power Fayetteville Trinity Christian at the Bojangles’ Bash. Carrawell finished with 23 points and six rebounds. Teammates Wendell Moore (16 points, nine rebounds), Khalid Davis (15 points, three rebounds, three steals) and Cody Cline (10 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals) all had strong games.
