Breya Busby, Charlotte Christian girls: 22 points in a 48-43 win over Fort Mill’s Comenius School.

Josh Hall, Moravian Prep: After committing to N.C. State Friday, Hall had 51 points in a 95-73 win over Arizona Compass Prep at the Battle at the Rock tournament Saturday in Rock Hill. Same day, he had 18 points, eight rebounds in a 68-66 win over Orangeville at the Bojangles’ Bash in Columbia.

Tristan Maxwell, North Mecklenburg: Georgia Tech signee made 12-of-26 shots, including 5-for-12 in Saturday’s 89-79 win over AC Flora at the Bojangles Bash. He finished with 36 points, three assists and three steals. Trayden Williams had 20 points, seven assists, three steals and Jeremy Gregory finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and two blocks for the Vikings, No. 1 in the Sweet 16.

Randi Neal, South Pointe girls: 25 points, five rebounds in a 72-58 win over Dorman at the Battle at the Rock.

DJ Nix, Cannon School: 27 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks in a 71-47 win over Rock Hill.

Michael Zanoni, Providence Day: sophomore made seven 3-point shots for the second straight game. He was 7-for-13 in Friday’s 50-44 win over York Prep and finished with a game-high 23 points.

Hough: Huskies are 8-1 after Friday’s 80-67 win over Mooresville. Hough won nine games last season.

Ardrey Kell: Knights, No. 9 in the Sweet 16, had four players hit double figures in Friday’s 64-50 win over South Meck. Anthony Testa’s 13 was a career-high.

Xavier McKelvy, Myers Park: Mustangs leading scorer had 13 points in the first half of Friday’s 64-53 win over Trinity Episcopal. But he suffered a bad foot sprain and missed the second half. Duke recruit Henry Coleman had 34 ponts and 12 rebounds for Episcopal.

Tristan Maxwell, North Mecklenburg: became his school’s all-time leading scorer during Friday’s 99-68 win over rival West Charlotte. Maxwell, who had 22 points Friday, now has 1,713 points in his career.
