Leah Barringer, Vance: 16 points, four rebounds in a 54-50 win over Norland at the Jr. Orange Bowl semifinals in Miami. Vance will play Palm Beach Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the finals.

Chyna Cornwell, Newton-Conover: newly selected to the Observer’s All-Decade team, Cornwell had 21 points, 19 rebounds and two blocks in a 60-55 win over Bunker Hill.

Shelby Darden, Hickory: 21 points, six rebounds, two assists in a 54-46 win over South Caldwell. Darden made 8-of-10 field goals.

Laila Hankerson, Kennedy Grier, Charlotte Country Day: 18 points each in a 67-35 win over West Meck at the Queen City Clash. Country Day (10-3) is off to one of the best starts in school history.

Aleysha Wade, Clover: 15 points, six rebounds, six assists in a semifinal win over Spartanburg in the Carolina Lowcountry Classic. Clover plays either Mauldin/Cane Bay Monday at 1:30 in the finals.
