The next three players are area stars: No. 2 Will Shipley from Weddington High in Union County; No. 3 DeAndre Boykins from Central Cabarrus High in Cabarrus County; and No. 4 Hough running back Evan Pryor.

Shipley, a running back, is committed to Clemson. Boykins, a multi-positional athlete, is committed to North Carolina. Pryor, a running back, is committed to Ohio State.

Myers Park quarterback Drake Maye, committed to North Carolina, is No. 6; Tar Heel commit Gavin Blackwell, a wide receiver from Sun Valley is No. 8; and Hunter Huss’s Dontavius Nash, a safety committed to North Carolina, is No. 10.
