Who are the top high school football teams in North Carolina? Our latest rankings
By Chris Hughes
Each of the four classifications is headed by an unbeaten team, but one: In 3A, Scotland has a blemish, but is still atop the rankings. Meanwhile, in 2A, seven of the 10 teams in the current rankings have yet to lose, while in 4A, four of the top 5 teams listed still boast a bagel in the loss column.
In the biggest class, Hough remains the team to beat, closely followed by Chambers, which counts Hough as its only loss.
Here are the latest N.C. high school football rankings, broken down by class.
