Talking Preps NC: preseason basketball polls, all-state teams and football previews
A new Talking Preps NC debuts Tuesday (11.16.21) at 8 p.m. with replays after. On tap:
▪ Cleveland High running back Omarion Hampton, a UNC recruit, joins the show to talk about Friday’s big game with Cardinal Gibbons and to take down coach Greiner on “The Game Show.”
▪ Coach Rick will debut the preseason boys basketball Super Team and to preview the N.C. rankings. Alex will have the girls statewide players to watch.
▪ Chelsea sits down with Rolesville High lineman Jesiah Henderson, an East Carolina recruit, who has helped Rolesville go on a big playoff run.
▪ The Mr. Football for the eventual N.C. player of the year gets a big update. There’s a few new faces and some major changes.
▪ We feature the top performers in the state from last Friday, the Grice’s Gems: Kevin Concepcion, Chambers; Chide Ogan, Cary Christian; Omarion Hampton, Cleveland; Will Hart, Porter Ridge; and Daylin Lee of Shelby.
▪ We also feature four Fresh Faces: Glenn’s Camden Coleman, Porter Ridge’s Danny Kenndy, Cabarrus Warrior Xander Lamb and Rolesville’s Noah Rogers.
