Major shuffle at top of Sweet 16 poll as teams hit the final stretch of the season
There are two weeks left before we name a Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 champion
And this week, there’s lots of shuffling near the top as teams ready for regional championship rounds.
Hough and Chambers are still 1-2, heading into their 4A Western Regional meeting. Shelby is up two spots to No. 3 after ending Reidsville’s 32-game win streak, and South Point, in the regional round for the first time in a half decade, jumped five spots to No. 4.
