Chambers returns back to a familiar spot in The Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 poll
After beating rival Hough in Friday’s N.C. 4A Western Regional championship game, Chambers High is going back to where it started.
The Cougars (14-1) moved up one spot to No. 1 in the Sweet 16 poll. Chambers was No. 1 in preseason and remained there for about a month until it lost to Hough 16-10 in late September.
Friday’s win avenged that loss and Hough and Chambers swapped spots in the Sweet 16.
