Three new teams move into Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 polls this week
Three new teams join this week’s Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 basketball polls.
In the boys poll, private school power United Faith is back in the poll at No. 16. The Falcons (14-7) have won three of their past four games.
In the girls poll, Marvin Ridge won the first Southern Carolinas championship in school history Friday and move into the poll at No. 16. The Mavericks (18-4) have won 11 straight games. Joining them in the poll this week is No. 15 Carson (16-3) which has won seven in a row.
