Parkwood High’s Ashton Plyler is Charlotte Observer HS baseball player of the week

Parkwood High’s Ashton Plyler is the first Charlotte Observer high school baseball player of the week for the 2022 season.

Plyler won after nearly 50,000 votes were cast.

The Wolfpack senior tossed a complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts, giving up just one hit on 82 pitches on the mound to lead Parkwood to a 6-0 win over South Stanly March 7.
