Parkwood’s Jackson Nash is Charlotte Observer HS baseball player of the week

Parkwood High’s Jackson Nash is the Charlotte Observer high school baseball player of the week.

The Wolfpack junior tossed a complete-game one hitter with nine strikeouts and one walk to lead Parkwood to a 2-0 win over Forest Hills March 25.

Nash also went 1-for-4 at the plate with a run scored in a 17-4 victory at Forest Hills March 23.

Parkwood also won the series opener 5-0 over Forest Hills March 22.

Nash is 1-2 on the mound with 17 strikeouts in 14 innings of work for Parkwood (6-3).
