Pine Lake Prep’s Nash Chelcun is the Charlotte Observer baseball player of the week.
The Pride senior went 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored in a 2-0 win over Mountain Island Charter April 6.
Chelcun went 2-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored in a 8-6 victory at Mountain Island Charter April 8.
He was 0-for-3 in a 14-6 loss at Mooresville April 7.
Chelcun is hitting .308 with three home runs and 13 RBI for Pine Lake Prep (10-3).
