Ardrey Kell track’s Jamier Moten is the Charlotte Observer boys HS athlete of the week
Ardrey Kell track star Jamier Moten is the Charlotte Observer boys high school athlete of the week.
The Knights’ senior won the 100 and 200-meter dashes, while helping the 4 X 200-meter relay to victory at the SoMeck 4A conference championships at Olympic May 5.
Moten ran a personal-best 21.43 in winning the 200-meter dash conference title to help the Ardrey Kell boys’ track to a SoMeck 4A championship by 94 points.
He’ll compete in the N.C. 4A Western Regionals this weekend.
