Here’s how to watch Saturday’s Cardinal Gibbons-Chambers state championship rematch

Saturday at 4:30 p.m., Chambers and Cardinal Gibbons will be the last two NC high school football teams to kick off the season, and they will do so in South Carolina.

The game is a rematch of last year’s 4A state championship game, which Cardinal Gibbons won 14-2. It’s being played at District 3 Stadium in Rock Hill.

Chambers has lost RB Daylan Smothers, who transferred to West Charlotte, but has a host of returnees, including nine on offense. Cardinal Gibbons returns DE Donovan Dozier, who has several offers from Power 5 schools, along with much of its defense.

Tickets for the game are $12 (Live TV, WCCB; streaming Bahakel Sports)
