Who were the state’s top HS football performers from Week 2?

Here are the state’s top five performances from Week 2 of the high school football season.

Lucas Graham, West Rowan: in a 35-34 win over Davie County, Graham completed 15-of-25 passes for a school-record 388 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target, Evan Kennedy, caught seven passes for a school-record 227 yards.

Luke Bailey, Providence: 23 carries, 366 yards and five TDs in a 42-13 win over South Meck. Bailey set a school-record for rushing and turned in the 13th best single game performance in Meck County history.

Jaylen Patterson, West Caldwell: 514 yards passing, 15th most in state history, against RS Central Friday.

Khyler Watson, Ardrey Kell: had four sacks in a 40-3 win over Cuthbertson. The Knights had 11 sacks for the game and allowed 69 total yards, including 11 in the second half.

Max Guest, AC Reynolds: ran for 302 yards, 4 TDs in win over Shelby, knocking the 2A state champions to 0-2.
