Hopewell soccer player Ben Heiar is The Charlotte Observer boys athlete of the week.
Heiar finished ahead of East Lincoln’s Landon Graden and Davidson Day’s Jasper Zullman.
Heiar, a junior, scored all four goals in a 4-2 win at Mallard Creek Sept. 7.
