Queen City Senior Bowl, Shrine Bowl kickoff Saturday. Rosters, how to watch

Dozens of Observer-area players will players will play in their final high school football games Saturday. The Shrine Bowl is in at. The Queen City Senior Bowl kicks off Saturday at noon at Olympic High.

Here’s how to watch and rosters are below.

Shrine Bowl

The Shrine Bowl will be played for the first time in two years at Spartanburg High School. Kickoff is 1 p .m. Saturday.

The game, which began in 1937, matches some of the best pubic school seniors in North and South Carolina.

Some tickets are still available and must purchased onsite.

Queen City Senior Bowl

This year’s Queen City Senior Bowl will be broadcast live Dec. 17 at noon.

The annual game features some of the top senior high school football players from Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston and Union Counties.

This year’s game will be played at Olympic High School and shown on WCCB, Channel 18 as well as streamed live on bahakelsports.com

Some of the proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Metro School, a community school that serves 250 students, all of whom are cognitively disabled.

General admission tickets are $10.

South Mecklenburg High coach Joe Evans will coach the West team. Hickory Ridge’s Jupiter Wilson will coach the East.
