Austin Swartz had 16 points, Sean Birmingham 14 and Jaylen Claggett 10 as Cannon School, No. 14 in The Charlotte Observer’s Sweet 16, beat Virginia Episcopal at the Phenom Hoops/George Lynch Invitational at Charlotte Country Day.

Armani Henderson, Hickory Grove: 33 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and five assists in a 79-59 win over Greater Cabarrus.

Jonah Lawrence, East Mecklenburg: 31 points, a game-high, in a 64-49 win over Berry. He made 17-of-21 free throws.
