Football, defense: Independence High’s Joe Reddish had an interception, defended three passes and had four tackles in a 55-6 win over Olympic Dec. 10.

Football, offense: Butler High’s DJ Horton ran 22 times for 160 yards and two TDs in a 41-21 second round playoff win at Mooresville last week.

Athlete: SouthLake Christian girls basketball player Sophia Drury scored 28 points, had 10 assists and seven rebounds in a 67-12 win over Sugar Creek Charter Nov. 8. Drury also had 15 points in a 41-34 win at North Hills Christian Nov. 7.
