Charlotte Christian’s John Lash is Charlotte Observer boys HS athlete of the week

Charlotte Christian star John Lash is The Charlotte Observer’s boys high school athlete of the week.

The 6-foot-6 sophomore had 32 points, while also tying a school-record with 23 rebounds (tying former N.C. State/NBA player, Todd Fuller) in a 64-61 loss at Winston-Salem Christian Nov. 28.

Lash also had 29 points and 22 rebounds to go with four assists in a 64-47 win at Victory Christian Dec. 2.

Lash was averaging 26 points and 15 rebounds per game for Charlotte Christian, through last Sunday when the poll began.
