West Cabarrus’ Shariah White is Charlotte Observer girls HS athlete of the week

West Cabarrus basketball player Shariah White is The Charlotte Observer girls high school athlete of the week.

The 5-foot-9 freshman scored 15 points, had seven rebounds, three steals and two assists in a 53-40 win over Mooresville Jan. 11.

White also had 11 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 49-44 victory at Mount Tabor Jan. 14.
