Talking Preps: Who are the area’s most underrated boys, girls HS basketball players?

A new Talking Preps debuts Monday at 8 p.m. Here’s what’s on tap:

Rick and Randall will reveal their top five underrated boys and girls basketball players in the area (and feel to drop your favorites in the comments for discussion).

We’ll preview the boys and girls games of the week, including the big Chambers-North Meck rematch Friday.

Rick and Randall will reveal their picks for players of the week and Watauga’s Kate Sears and Hopewell’s Quay Watson will join us live in studio.

Carmel Christian’s Bryce Cash has helped his team to a top 25 national ranking and he’ll stop by to talk the season -- and battle Randall on “The Game Show.”

Chelsea sits down with Salisbury High star Kyla Bryant.

On Coach Vs. Coach, Randall and Gary debate whether Super Bowl Monday should be a national holiday, does high school basketball have a flopping problem and if Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools should punt on conference tournaments.
