Lake Norman Charter’s Isaiah Martino is Charlotte Observer boys athlete of the week
The Charlotte Observer boys high school athlete of the week is Isaiah Martino of Lake Norman Charter.
The 5-foot-8 senior point guard poured in a season-high 27 points, going 11-for-15 from the field, to lead Lake Norman Charter to a 68-50 win over Carson.
Martino also scored 11 points in a 72-46 victory at East Rowan Jan. 27.
Martino is averaging 14.9 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals per game for Lake Norman Charter (10-9) this season.
